Hi Mirjam, won't have inspo post until sunday if that's ok - our house leaked badly last week twice and we've been dealing with insurance people all week - they think they've found the problem but means roof need fixing and walls and ceiling in kitchen needs to be replaced - at least nothing collapsed, just a pain dealing with it...
and also heading off to sydney for a night for brothers retirement dinner now that covid restrictions are easing so that will be good to get away
one day I will have things on time!

Time for some Silliness!!
Everybody pretty much agrees – 2020 has been a grim old year. Fires, floods, and all the issues the pandemic has brought world wide – it’s no wonder we are eagerly awaiting 2021 in the hopes of a new start. BUT, we are still here and it is time to lighten up a little – if only to keep your own sanity intact. Time to find your personal silliness and document it! Find a silly photo or a situation that makes you laugh – inside jokes that only your family or friends get and document it. Don't be embarrassed (our total lack of artistic ability is on full display here!) but embrace all aspects of your story!
Lean heavily on bright colours, doodles, stitches and word art. Speech bubbles are a must have for silly pages! Don’t worry about balance or artistic merit – just throw everything in and have fun! (and yes- or cat loves sleeping on his back preferably with his legs in the air...). Mirjam has plenty of doodle packs in store that can be colourised to suit your page - love them so much!
These pages will become your family favourites for many years to come I promise you that!

Every year in November, I present you with an advent calendar. This month is not an exception. I created an advent calendar with small paper envelopes and wooden pins.
I created 24 envelopes in printed papers from papers kits created by Pink Reptile Designs. I used papers that I had already printed and that were in my stock. I chose a palette of colours: green, red, yellow, light pink and light blue.
I created envelopes and I decorated them with December Dailies | Elements by Pink Reptile Designs. I love these products ! There are perfects for Advent calendar.
First I created envelopes with papers.
Blue : Silent Night, Red : No Probllama, Green : So Here's the story, White : Silent Night)
Then, I decorated each of them. I show you some example.
I arranged all envelopes on my table to vizualize the global pattern :
To finalize my advent calendar, I put the wool string through wooden pin hole
To finish, I pinned the envelope strips to the wall with the strings. I created a christmas tree pattern :
My advent calendar is done ! I can't wait to be in December !

Hi everyone! It's always a blast browsing the PRD gallery at The Lilypad. I'm always amazed by the creativity of this community. Here are some pages that deserve to be highlighted.
The first page to catch my attention was this amazing layout by @angels called "Memories". I love the big photo, the vertical title and the carefully selected elements.
The second page is the "VEDay Virtual Performance" by @Angela Toucan, who documented an music performance held online due to Covid restrictions. It's a strange year but we all come up with creative solutions!
Last but not least, "Stay optimistic" by @littlekiwi. I really loved the minimal design, the honest journaling and the positive message.
Keep scrapping and sharing your beautiful pages in the PRD gallery. You might be the next one featured on the blog!
