With the covid virus, we have to change our habits. And one of them, it's to get outside with a mask. I created a box to put the masks away next to the door, so they're tidy and you don't have to look for them everywhere.
I recycled a game box of my son. I cut in cardstock (recycled gift box) the dividers that will be inside my box.
I began to decorate the side of the box with a pattern paper from Pure & Simple|papers. I used double face tape to glued the paper on the box :
I glued this pretty paper (Wild Flower|papers) to decorate the bottom of the box :
I glued a white paper to cover all other sides of my box. Then I cover each shelf with my favorite paper : the cherry blossoms paper from Forget me not
I Glued the shelves and the divider inside the box with my glue gun. I cut the surplus of glue
I added a second divider to create an aera to decorate my box. On the area, I glued several elements cut from differents kits : leaves from Spung, tag from Sprung, tape from No Probllama and WA from No Probllama
The yellow tag indicates the side for kid's maks. I found it was a good idea to mark the location for my kids.

How organized are you? Awesome! And so cute. I just hang ours over the bottle neck of an old champagne bottle (a nice one though :)

Forced Inspiration!
So it’s my turn to write the Inspiration Blog post and there is nothing there! Absolutely Nothing! Zero! Sigh... Normally I have a vague idea of something that I have loved that month and will happily make a post about it but this month a complete blank!
What to do (besides panic)?
We have all been there and normally a break away from our scrapping gives us some breathing space and by the time we get back to it, the ideas are flowing but time is a factor so again – what to do? Time to force inspiration – similar to the thought that writers just need to get something down on paper, I just needed a kickstart!
Firstly, check out the Gallery at The Lilypad to see if there are any new trends that are emerging – ok, all the wonderful pages that I loved have used techniques or styles that we have already written about – maybe a something about paint – hmmm, not bad but which way to go from there?
On to Pinterest next – what are paper scrappers doing? Lots of flowers, antique tones, also doodling and freehand drawing is making a comeback – Ok, Paint and doodles – slowly getting there!
Finally hit the jackpot – Googled Designs Trends and came across a wonderful post from PicMonkey Top 10 Graphic Designs Trends for 2020 – so many wonderful ideas. I highly recommend checking out this quick read!
The image that totally caught my eye was this one -
How cool is the torn paper insert across her face? And the gradient background - so gorgeous and easy to incorporate into a page - even if it is in a small way like my paint brush stroke.
This idea can be used a number of different ways (i'm thinking landscape backgrounds with group photos inserts, school portrait with class photo or fun selfie inserts, pet photo with owner insert - they totally think that way anyway!). I used the idea as an piece torn from an art book for my photoless page.
Of course it was in their Ripped from a Scrapbook category – so now to combine this image with paints and doodling – and the following page came together – so pleased with the end result – forced inspiration can sometimes work!
So if an idea drought has hit you, sometimes diving into the internet can actually be a good thing - just avoid Facebook and Youtube if you need to get some serious work down - they are two rabbit holes you don't need to venture down - trust me on this!

So glad you liked it Mirjam!! I had originally done a small tutorial on how to get the gradient look on the torn paper but it was pretty boring so I went through my thought process to get there instead, I liked it much better!

Love your post, Karen. No ideas, haven't we all been there?
I love the torn paper over the face. That gives me inspiration for a new user pic on another site I frequent.

Hi everyone! I hope this finds you well during these difficult times. I had so much fun browsing the PRD gallery at The Lilypad. Here are some wonderful pages I want to share with you.
First, @caapmun is the inspired scrapper that made this awesomely creative page. I just love how she made the title with the coffee beans, the cup, the arrows and the stains.
My second choice comes from @Claire Grantham, with her wonderful NYC page. It's not that I'm jealous or anything that she lives in the greatest city on earth (I am!). I love her journaling and placement of the photos.
Another page that caught my attention is from @Thuria. I am big fan of her style. In this page I love the contrast between the plain white background and the scatters of colorful elements that highlight this cute photo.
Keep scrapping and sharing your beautiful pages in the PRD gallery. You might be the next one featured on the blog!
