Today, I'm going to show you how to do an hybrid page with a bit of luck : Paper, photo, inks and 4 cut elements. Esay, isn't it ?
The first step is to print a photo on a cardstock.
But before print the photo, I modified it with photoshop.
I played with contrast and light to improve my photo.
Then I clipped it on a mask (Masquerade vol.2) to erase borders and to promote the future fade of photo on my white page after print
Don't forget to work on white background to have the same finish on your computer like on your paper
I print my photo on a textured cardstock. You could print it on white paper but I prefer textured paper because the effect on the photo is really beautiful.
Now, it's time to add inks and other decorations
For my page, I applied ink with a cut'n dry on a mask. I used a mask with ink stains pattern. I cheated to obtain perfect splatters ans stains.
I used distress inks but all inks work
I added a flower stamp (carabelle studio) and black ink splatters
On the top border, I add a tag cut from XXXX kit
I cut with a die and my machine (cuttlebug) a leave pattern in a paper from "All eyes on you" kit...
And I cut a leave from "More than words" kit...
I added them on flower stamp to create a cluster
I added a circle to hidden the end of leaves (Limitkess|elements)
I stamped a feather (aladine stamp) on a white cardstock and I cut out it
I glued 3D autoadhesive foam to give a relief on my page
I finished my page with some blue ink stains, always with a mask
My page is done !
