April is the perfect month to began my balcony vegetable garden.
I sowed radish and lettuce seeds. And with my children we planted potatoes, strawberries and tomatoes plants.
I created several garden tags to decorate and to remembrer where are my different crops.
Several years ago, Pink Reptile Designs and Amy Wolff Designs created a collaboration on garden theme.
I used this kit named Homegrown to create my tags.
I created my tags on photoshop then I printed them.
The first step was to draw a rectangle to symbolize my tag
I decided to create three different designs, so I created three tags. I decorated them :
My tags will be fold in two. The left part is the recto and the right part is the verso of my tag :
I added name of my crops of the verso :
When I finished my tags, I colored the rectangle in white to be print :
I printed my tags.
Then I cut them to obtain paper tags :
I glued a piece of double face tape on each tag :
I added a toothpick on the double face tape :
And I folded in two the tag :
I obtained three garden tags :
I planted them in my vegatble garden. My tag among my strawberry plants :
And two weekds after the seeds sowing, I saw the first radish seedlings :
My garden has beautiful tags !
