Name: Birgit

Alias (how are you known in Digiland): Meibritt

Country: I live in Germany

Favorite PRD Kit or Product:
This is not easy to answer. I like many of Mirijam's products. But spontaneously I think of the Dog Eared Alpha,  Gone To The Beach Journal Cards and the Feel The Breeze Papers. Yes, these are my favorite products!

How long have you been scrapping?
I started in February 2006. My first grandson was just 3 months old and I wanted every special moment of his life in the limelight. I found, on the internet, a German forum. At first I just downloaded freebies, but soon I started to buy in various stores one or the other kit. Eventually I ended up at Lilypad and remained until today.

What is your go to product? Something that seems to find it’s way on many of your pages? (stitches, tags, patterned papers, doodles, paint, etc)
I like fancy stitching, patterned papers and goodies to put emphasis on things. In Mirjam's products, I find all of this.

What would your dream kit be, if you could have any kit created for you?
This really is not easy to answer. At Christmas time, Christmas kits are my desire, in winter snow kits, in spring I like Easter kits ..... yes an Easter kit would be nice. Or a communion kit. We have, in the family this year, a communicant.

Best scrapbooking trick you learned.
I love playing with brushes and styles. Sometimes I edit a photo with overlays. But the best trick is to play with the shadows. I think it is fascinating how realistic the elements can look with shadow work.

Random facts about you, that we might not know about you?
1. I wanted to become a midwife, but I changed my mind and made an apprenticeship as a hairdresser.
2. I have five grandchildren, four boys and a girl.
3. I have a young dog and an old cat. With the dog I visit a dog school. We'll be doing trick dogs and searching for objects.

Here are a couple of Birgit's favorite pages:

Wow, Birgit! You must have a full house during celebrations with all those grandchildren and pets! What a special Grandmother you are to scrap all their milestones and moments for them! I can see your love for the details on your pages ... with the stitches and embellishments you have used to emphasis your stories! Beautiful pages!!! Thank you so much for sharing them and a bit about yourself with all of us! I hope you enjoy your coupon!
