Have you ever thought to yourself, "I don't have ANY pictures for this layout"?  I'm going to show you one of the ways I work around this problem.  Journal Cards are some of the easiest substitutes for pictures.

I'm using two Journal Cards from the Butterflies In My Stomach Collection that can be found in the Sweet Shoppe Designs store: https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/product.php?productid=53759&cat=&page=1  

Here's the layout I created using no photographs, just Journal Cards in place of them.  I put a stroke around each Journal Card - one black and one white stroke.  

Pink Ladies, Rikki, Marilyn and Marijke have also added different examples of how they create photo-less pages.


Like I said, I use this technique quite often and these layouts are also called "photoless layouts".  They're the perfect way to create Art Journaling pages, too.  I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial.
