Inspiration - September 8th


One of my favorite sources of inspiration is searching for "paper scrapbooking" on Pinterest. I love the techniques of traditional scrapbooking, but not its mess, so I try to recreate them digitally. This time it wasn't an actual page but a photo by Paige Taylor Evans.

And it instantly reminded me of my favorite PRD products: the Stunning stitches!
So I opened Photoshop and used various packs of stitches (in particular, Stunning Stitches No.10, Stunning Stitches No.8, Stunning Stitches No.6, Stunning Stitches no.4, as well as the amazing In Stitches | Alpha.
I had to recolor some of the stitches to make them match the No probllama elements and papers. And the result is a fun background and page!

Love it, Cindy. I like those stitches, too, but have never used them in such a way. Will put this on my scraplift list :)

Several years ago, my kids created a dreamcatcher for their bedrooms. I found the resultat very beautiful and super easy to create.
I keep this idea in my mind for a future dreamcatcher, when I found the better hoop. Finally, I bought a rattan wood in a diy shop.
I decided to create a dreamcatcher with Pink Reptile Designs products, and especially If only kit. It's the perfect kit for sweet creations.

I started by weave the dreamcatcher with white whool




The weaving is finished :


After, I started the decoration with printed elements from If only|elements :


I cut inside solid papers several leaves dies :


I created a cluster of elements with cut paper elements :




Then I decorated the whool threads with a WA that I cut each word :


Each word is glued on several threads



My dreamcatcher is done !
