I'm going to create a box for Easter

I don't like the project (colors, elements ...) but I find it's a good idea and I'm sure that I can do a beautoful hybrid projects with your products Mirjam. What do you think about it ?
Do you like the idea to decorate an eggs box ?

This year I would like to create an original decoration for Easter.
I found beautiful decrotaed egg-boxes on Pinterest and I wanted to do one !

My hybrid project is an egg-box for easter with a sweet surprise inside ^^

The fisrt step is to clean egg-box to remove advertising paper to obtain a solid egg-boxe like this :


I began by decorate the inside of box. You could began by outside by it's more difficult to work inside if the top is decorated. The thickness of decoration could be disturb the decoration inside the box.

I cut the two column inside the box to obtain a "flat" area




Then I cut a rectangle in a print paper from Pink Reptile Designs (from Growing pains| papers kit), an I glued it on the top (inside area).


Now the outside of the box.
I choose spring colors to make my box : pink, purple, yellow and green

I cut a strip of pink paper and i glued it on the edge (from Limitless|papers). Don't forget two holes for the closure of egg-box


I added a piece of paper to cover the top of the box. I choose a pink paper with white dots (from Sea of love| papers)


An egg-box is a small area to decorate. I choose a light pattern paper for the top to can decorate with several kind of elements without overload the decoration in general.
I make a cluster out of the box and when I was sure I glued it on the top. My cluster contains leaves cut with a die (from Kesi'art), deux pieces of papers and a tag (from Kesi'art). Papers are from Limitless | papers.


I add several drops of black ink before continue my decoration


I add a rabbit to give easter atmosphere to my egg-box and I add colored dots


Then on the edge I added leaves ...


And big letters to finish my box :


My decorated egg-box is done !


The last touch is the add of sweeties for kids, the better surprise is hidden inside the box.
I put a doily in each case to gather chocolats


I choose chocolat chicks but the creation that inspired me, has chocolat eggs :
