Several days ago, I decided to create terrarium in papers.
I saw many ideas on pinterest.

For this project I used cactus designed by Pink Reptile Designs from kit named Homebody

To begin, I searched on pinterest box or gems pattern to create my terrarium.
I printed this gabarit :


I cut it, and I drawn it on a white cardstock :


Then, I cut the cardstock to obtain my terrarium template :




I glued plastic squares on windows to create by box, and I glued each wall together to build the terrarium


I added some decoration on the background. In this example I glued wooden leaves and leaves cut in a paper from Drawn to you | papers

I cut a cactus from Homebody | elements, and I glued it at the bottom of a piece of brown felt :


I added several leaves from Drawn to you | papers paper and I glued the felt inside my terrarium :


The last step is the closure of the box.
My first terrarium is done :


I created a second terrarium with another cactus Homebody | elements.
Same process, I cut a cactus and I glued it on a flet piece :


I added leaves die cut obtained with my cuttlebug machine

I added some embellishment on the background to complete the scene


And I closed the box :


My new terrarium are done, and no need water !

I haven't green fingers, my paper cactuses are perfect !

They are perfect for me too! I also don't have green fingers!

Pretty Pages March

Hi Everyone,
It’s been a crazy busy few weeks here, so looking forward to some down time over Easter. We are attending a friend’s 50th birthday party – last count 180 people attending and most of them camping at his property! Should be fun but I’m so glad it’s not me organising it all!
Always lots going on in the scrapping world, and the Pink Reptile Design blog template challenge is in full swing! Lots of Pretty Pages to choose from this month, so happy to see a few new faces popping up!

Isn’t this a gorgeous photo from Trish? Her use of the template is so perfect! There are vibrant colours but the overall effect is somehow muted and oh so lovely! Her title work is so apt, love the giant ampersand!



One of my favourite Pink reptile kits is Puppy Love (and I don’t even have a dog, just a cat who thinks he is one…). How cute is this page by Tracymonica? Perfect little puppy, the torn page and all the elements balance beautifully. I just want to lay down besides Pup and snuggle in!


Finally we have a very bold and striking interpretation of this month’s template from RJMJ. This stood out so much for me in the gallery, I just love it! The black and white repeat images with the pops of primary colour – just wow! Equally impressive is the description of the process she went through to come up with the finally page – it is well worth visiting this page just for that – so much to learn. Thanks for the lesson RJMJ! Truly astonishing.

Sorry this was so late, is has been a hectic month, I thought it was still the 23rd today... so badly organised

I won't be able to do next month, we have too much coming up but happy to resume in May.

I got it Karen. it's scheduled to go live tomorrow so all is well!

Hey Karen, thank you for the heads up! Not a problem. I can handle the end of April's Pretty pages! It's the beginnning I am struggling with! I've got to get a post ready asap .... :)
