| One of my inspiration sources is Pinterest. I found several home decor projects based on butterflies and paper flowers :  source : Little House On The Corner http://www.littlehouseonthecorner.com/butterfly-art/ source : stampin ' cards and memories http://stampincardsandmemories.blogspot.nl/2014/01/butterfly-madness.html source : Bombshell Bling http://www.bombshellbling.com/embellished-paper-lantern/I keep in my mind these ideas to create something with paper shapes. But I hadn't find the good medium And one day, a couple of weeks, I found a mirror again in cleaning my scraproom ^^ It was perfect for my home decor hybrid project ! I printed papers from differents papers kits from Pink Reptile Designs (tadah, I'm not perfect, pop) and with a small butterfly punch I did many butterfly pieces in differents colors I glued them on the mirror frame (black wood)  I cut with my cutting machine (cuttlebug) several flowers shapes in white (dandelions and flowers).  To give a 3D effect, I put a second smaller flower on the top of white flower. The small flower are cut inside paper from "I'm not perfect | paper" kit I added under flower a messy white wire  I created a second custering at the opposite side on mirror :  To finish I completed my decoration in adding few butterflies. My mirror is finished !  I hand it up on my wall  An new mirror done only with paper butterflies and flowers. Easy-peasy ! | |
